Breaking out today!

Little Johnathan did good through the night. woke up to eat a couple times, but slept for 2 four hour stretchs.
Kendra slept great after her Go Home Gorgeous massage. I slept ok on one of those crappy pull out beds.
All of little Johnathan's check ups have been great. His hearing is good, his Bilirubin level is a little high, so we have to keep an eye on him, but Joseph was the same way. it should be good in a few days.
so long as everything keeps going ok, they should be here at about 12 to draw blood for the PKU test, and then we should be heading home!

We've posted more pictures here:

moved to our recovery room.

what a crazy day it's been! Kendra spent the morning laboring at home. When the contractions got to down to about 5 minutes apart, and getting to be a bit too much to handle we decided to head to the hospital.
My expectation based on Joseph was that we would be here a few hours laboring, then start the delivery process and have Johnathan sometime in the night.
well.. Johnathan had other plans. We think Kendra's water broke as we were walking into the Hospital, at this point Kendra was not enjoying the contractions, and was considering the epidural.
The nurse and a midwife showed us to the room, and did and initial exam on Kendra. The midwife says, "Oh, your at 10cm"
Now, I knew this was the goal, but I guess it didn't really hit me what it meant until the nurse goes "Oh!" and springs into actions pulling untold contraptions out of every cabinet.
Kendra looks at the midwife and says "I guess it's too late for the epidural then?"
the midwife, as polite as she could says "um.. yea. you're gonna have this baby naturally... in a few minutes."
the rest of the delivery went quickly, although he was head down, he was looking up, "sunny side up" as they call it.
There were no complications, and everything went smoothly.
we've moved to our recovery room now, and I will work on uploading some of the pictures.

He's here!!

Johnathan Scott Reiling
Born at 12:23 pm
7 lbs 13 oz.
20 inches long

Born on his due date, exactly 15 months after Joseph.
He's got a full head of black hair, and was born sunny side up, much to moms delight.

But both are healthy and doing great.
Many more pictures to come!

At the hospital

Johnathan's not like his brother. Kendra is already 10cm. We've been here 10 min and were farther along than after 12 hours with Joe.

Had a great Christmas with the family. Got to see the cousins from Florida, and the rest of the family too.
Joseph got another cool Jeep from Papa, Kendra wont let me modify this one yet, he hasn't quite figured out how the peddles work yet.

Crawling

Well Joseph started crawling on thanksgiving day at papa and grandma's house. He's been cruising around the house ever since. Chasing the dog, or the little battery powered car. In the last couple days he's been walking along the couch or coffee table, and every once in a while he let's go and tries to ballance. He dosent last long though and usualy plops down on his butt.

Here he is standing a the couch playing with axle.
